I helped my friend, Nina Maluhia,  shoot a video for her FAP 2.0 entry. I shot it with my Canon 7D and I think it turned out pretty spiffy. Of course there were a lot more shots I wanted to get but unfortunately, we were pressed for time. I had trouble editing it because we did the audio and the video a weird way. My bad. But all things considering, like I said, it turned out pretty spiffy! Enjoy the vid guys!

Yes yes yes, I know. I posted this video on youtube about a week ago. I just wanted to talk about it a little bit. It's called "Blindsided" because it was kind of a double meaning. The first was using the word literally; me being blindsided by my friend Brandon because of his antics. The second was that he was just acting blind. I already shot a few things with my new camera which is the Canon 7D, but this was the first one that I uplaoded on youtube. Judging from the comments, everyone loves the quality of it and can tell that i've switched to a new camera. I am also pleased with what this camera can do for me. I know that I have a lot to learn and i'm glad that i'm learning it with the Canon 7D. Oh yeah...Its the day right after Thanksgiving, sooo...Happy Thanksgiving!

So yesterday I walked into my local camera shop to check out some lenses that I want to get for the upcoming Canon 7D i've been thinking about purchasing. When I told the associates there the reason, they told me that they just got a shipment of ten 7D's and said seven of them were already on hold. They got them earlier than any other retailer in my area. I couldn't pass up being the first one in my city with the camera! i picked one up along with a 50mm/F1.4 lense along with other accessories. I spent so much. GAHHH!!! I spent the whole day today playing with the camera.

The crappy part is that Canon hasn't released any updates to view the RAW files! So many pictures and no real way of viewing em'. I can deal for now because i'm still gettin used to my first DSLR. I'll let you all know how it goes along the way!

I've been wanting a DSLR camera for a while, and I was so close to buying the Canon 50D back July. The reason I didn't was the rumor that Canon will be coming out with another camera in late August. They didn't come out with a camera, but they did announce the Canon 7D. I want it...BAD. What's awesome is that this new camera can also do HD video. I get the best of both worlds. It cost a lot of monies, but I'm pretty sure it'll be totally worth it. I really want to see what kind of photos and videos people come up with this thing. woo!
